Frankie, an heiress to...something or another decided to run the Amazing Race in an act of rebellion. Regine, her nanny, in spite of pretty much despising her, found herself morally obligated to accompany her, especially since none of her friends or family would do anything with (Frankie). Things only worsened when it was revealed that Frankie's father was arrested for embezzlement, with all of their funds liquidated. Now damn near broke, Frankie sets out to reconcile her champagne tastes with her fruit juice budget while Regine sets out to gain independence from the family.

Ax & Tobias were the second-tier heroes in K.A. Applegate's series Animorphs. They had to race to discover more about the Earth and each other. Things hit a snag when Tobias was suddenly infected by a Yeerk, Temrash. Temrash and Ax continued to fight until their elimination in Melbourne, where Ax proposed that Temrash remain in control of his friend. With that borderline unethical decision made, the two began pretending to still be uncle and nephew.

Following her victory in Survivor: Micronesia, Parvati Shallow set out to win another million on The Amazing Race. She originally set out to run the race with her sister or one of her mactor friends, but after a string of mysterious deaths, decided to race with fellow castaway Natalie Bolton. At first, the two were stuck in the back of the pack, narrowly avoiding elimination; however, following a leg in Tokyo, the two surged to the front due to their killer instinct and luck in post races. Still, all good things must end, and the two were killed by Miranda Priestly after being drugged by...idk, Jonathan Penner? The funeral was great, particularly the canapes.

A last-minute entry, the Grey Family packed up their dysfunction/adultery/alcoholism for the road. They didn't make it far before old issues resurfaced - Meredith and Thatcher's alcoholism, Ellis' possesion of Thatcher's balls, Lexie's Cousin Oliver-ness. They were eliminated soon into the race, but all of them agree that it was for the best.

Ax & Tobias were invited to join the All-Star season of Wan & Chung's race due to their sparking MORN personalities and the lack of male racers. The most immediate change was that Tobias regained control of his body, leading to awkwardness. Sadly, luck wasn't on their side and they circled the drain before being trampled to...well, not death, but painful injury in Melbourne while everyone else was in Indonesia. Circle of life and all that. Anyway, Tobias and Ax would return to civilian life, pretending that the events of the past two years didn't happen while secretly enjoying them.

Ross & Gil are friends who really don't know how they became friends. All they really know is that they're off to find jet-setting Pam and the reasoning behind their existence. Unfortunately, the journey is paused for now, as the drama over ATTAR 7/Mooyou's races caused the former to get cancelled with slim chance of revival
I also raced on Forumsnet and now RFF. PM me for details (but I'll let you know I actually won a game in one of those places).
